The Adam Smith System is a star system.

Summary[ | ]

The Adam Smith System is a Star system in the Mecavelniy Boundary of the Euclid galaxy.

It was named for Adam Smith, the father of modern economics, after the discovery of gold reserves within the system.

Planets[ | ]

The Adam Smith System contains three planets, and zero moons.

Sowell XXV[ | ]

Sowell XXV is a large planet, with neon green skies and a temperate climate. While the grass is largely as green as the sky, much of the planet's surface is composed of deep, pink-and-red oceans. Notable locations include a Monolith, beneath which lies a cavernous hollow, a major trading post, and many outcroppings of gold.

Friedman IV[ | ]

Little is known of Friedman IV, other than it is frigidly cold and snows are common. Fauna is scarce compared to the abundant flora, but still readily available and largely docile.

Hayek IX[ | ]

The atmosphere of Hayek IX is toxic, ranking high in radioactivity readings. Despite this, there is a wide variety of plant life to be observed on this planet. Perhaps most unusually, the planet is home to a Carbon-based plant that resembles an all-blue isotope of Buckminsterfullerine, or a Buckyball as they are more commonly referred to.

Additional information[ | ]

  • All planets in the system were named for economists - Thomas Sowell, Milton Friedman and Friedrich Hayek
  • In keeping with the theme of economics, the Space station in this system features a Stock Exchange-style newsfeed above a desk in the terminal.
