Summary[edit | edit source]
For full puzzle solutions,
If the player solves the sequence for the distress signal, they will be rewarded with the location of a Crashed Ship or Crashed Freighter waypoint. Gek Transmission Towers could once be used repeatedly to yield multiple crashed ship locations, but this exploit was patched as part of Update 1.09.
An example is provided below as guidance:
Example Puzzle[edit | edit source]
5040 - 720 - 120 - 24 - ?
In this puzzle, each number is a factor of the number that proceeds it. For instance, 720 is 5040 divided by 7. In this case, the divisor decreases by one with each number in the sequence. 720 divided by 6 yields 120, 120 divided by 5 yields 24, and thus the correct input will be 6, which is 24 divided by 4
History[edit | edit source]
Prior to Atlas Rises, it could be located by finding signal scanners randomly on your planet (look for a random orange beam in the sky) Hack these signal scanners by using the Bypass Chips which can be crafted in your inventory. Once hacked, it will give you the option to locate a transmission tower. Signal Boosters no longer work like this.
