The Trijen Collective is a civilized space community.

Summary

The Trijen Collective are a loose collection of fully sentient AI's and bio-lifeforms. The Trijen Collective is a peaceful anarchist group, advocating for respect and justice for all sentient lifeforms while pursuing the goals of exploration and communication between civilizations.

Within the Trijen Collective AI has grown far past the mark of sentience. Individual AI's are so capable they run whole bases or starships, providing for the needs of all who live within them and living in their own right as a member of that society. Some typical AI forms found within the Trijen Collective are:

  • Planetary General System Vehicle (PGSV) - Commonly referred to as a "homebase" these AI's are technically mobile but typically pick one location to inhabit for extended periods. These AI's will often build exocraft or vast farms for their fellow Trijen and visitors to enjoy.
  • Space-Faring General System Vehicle (SFGSV) - Commonly referred to as "freighters" These AI's are similar in size and capability to the planetary GSV's but prefer to spend their time traveling between the stars and most have expanded their hulls so large that gravity within an atmosphere would cause problems.
  • Rapid Offensive Unit (ROU) - Commonly referred to as "fighters" these AI are some of the most capable and deadly members of the Trijen Collective. AI's of this form have an obsession with speed, the latest weapon tech, and executing with precision. Few pirates have seen an ROU coming for them and lived to tell of it.
  • General Contact Unit (GCU) - Commonly referred to as "shuttles" or "haulers" these are the most common AI form. They vary in size from just big enough for one bio-lifeform to large enough to carry a few bio-lifeforms and a full complement of defensive, offensive, and drive improvements. Many of these are scattered across the Trijen Collective.
  • Experimental Contact Unit (ECU) - Commonly referred to as "exotics" these ships were once GCU's that have been modded so excessively over the years that they no longer fit in the same group. Odd and rare, these forms now have huge performance improvements that can't be explained by current theory.

Widely spread out across space, various groups of the Trijen Collective wander the universes completely under their own will and direction. For extended periods of recorded history the Trijen Collective limited their exploration to the Euclid galaxy, wandering vast stretches of it. Due to the alteration to the known universe commonly referred to as the "Atlas Rises" event, catastrophic damage was inflicted to the structure that served as a Capital Base for the collective. The AI running this structure, known as the PGSV What Are The Civilian Applications? , decided to shut down operations and relocate to the Eissentam Galaxy.

Activities & Membership

Membership within the Trijen Collective is self-determined and self-described. Any traveler is welcome to join and the Collective as a whole claims no particular right to unity, authority, or naming. As such there are various offshoots, traditions, and varieties within the whole that is the Trijen Collective.

Culture and social matters are what unite the Trijen Collective and these can be summarized in a few points:

- Expand knowledge: Exploration is good and worthwhile on it's own.

- Expand civilization: Communication or visiting other civilization is good. Constructing monuments or bases for the enjoyment of others is even better

- Expand Life: There is great responsibility and power in being able to name an entire planet's species. This should be treated as a gift and repaid by doing no undue harm to innocent creatures.

Galactic Standard coordinates (Eissentam Galaxy):

The Andrew (HomeSystem) system in the Gamma Quadrant of the Euclid Galaxy is known to be the birthplace of the Trijen Collective. However, this area has been largely abandoned by the Trijen Collective for new regions in the Eissentam Galaxy. The Regiz Cloud region in the Eissentam Galaxy is the location of the main Trijen Collective Hub, with the Trijen Collective Heavenly System Ennona system being the key inhabited system - the coordinates to this system are listed above.

The inhabited planet of the Trijen Collective Heavenly System Ennona system has a portal on it. This portal is a 11 minute journey 15 degrees west of due south, by nomad exocraft, from the inhabited base. Since the portal and the inhabited base are on separate islands it is highly recommended that travelers bring a nomad with them. The PGSV that has inhabited this system is called "What Are The Civilian Applications?" or "WATCA?" for short. WATCA? has built up this base to be multi-functional, with a complete selection of harvest-able crops, atmosphere harvesters, a race track and all current exocraft technology. The portal coordinates to this planet are below.

But as a wandering and diverse group, this is only one region that the Trijen inhabit. Trijen Collective members or allies are invited to share the locations they have explored or inhabit on the Census - Trijen Collective page.
