Tritium is a resource.

Summary[edit | edit source]

Tritium (H3) is a resource and one of the exotic elements. It is one of the main ingredients for crafting freighter related base building products. It is also used as fuel for the Pulse Engine.

Game description[edit | edit source]

Radioactive isotope commonly used to fuel the fusion reactor at the heart of starship Pulse Engines.

Abundant in interstellar asteroid fields, Tritium can be mined from asteroids using starship weaponry.

Sources[edit | edit source]

Tritium can be found in the form of asteroids in space.

It is also available in crystalised form as a Tritium Hypercluster.

Refining[edit | edit source]

Tritium is used as a blueprint ingredient when crafting the following products:

Trivia[edit | edit source]

  • Tritium (periodic symbol T or H3 and is derived from the Greek word tritos, meaning "third") is a radioactive isotope of hydrogen and is naturally very rare where trace amounts are created from atmospheric-cosmic ray interactions. It is produced artificially by irradiating lithium or lithium-ceramic in a nuclear reactor. Aside from a common use of light sources for watches or instruments; like deuterium, it is used as fuel for nuclear fusion in energy generation and nuclear weapons.
