U. Gallleobera is a creature.

Summary[edit | edit source]

The Greater Mushroom Beetle U. Gallleobera is a creature in the No Man's Sky universe and it is a member of the Conokinis genus.

These massive creatures can be found in open plain areas and have adapted to the heated storms caused by the Blasted atmosphere on the Rocky planet of Toyol Minor. Despite their large size they can prove to be difficult to find as they are constantly on the move. Neither gender are shy and will not run away from strangers at first sight. The Asymmetric gender is usually found roaming rocky plains alone but as for the Exotic gender, they can be found in pairs more often then not. Scans revealed them to be highly intelligent and show a great interest in other creatures. They are easily tamed and appear content at following the whims of other creatures as well as a great interest in learning. They are a grazing creature that prefer ripe grass and use their great size and power to root through the ground to find the ripest heads of grass they can find.

Documented by: TPHaze

Surveyed and confirmed to be still in existence by TPHaze during the Beyond (2.13) update. Originally discovered by idgimriih who noted "As one of the largest GMBs on record, the U. Galleobera is an especially impressive presence to behold. Other smaller fauna spawn in great density on their desert homeworld, which can make these GMBs slightly difficult to locate. The easiest way is to use your Analysis Visor to spot more distant fauna-dots, as smaller fauna will not spawn as far away as these large animals. It features a green, purple, and brown mushroom with a large, fairly flat cap. The main beetle body features thick yellow stripes and dots on an orange body, eight crab-like legs, and two tentacle-like appendages extending from the front of the body below the head area. One large mushroom cap without a stem also grows on the front portion of the torso."
