Uncharted system is a type of star system.

Summary[edit | edit source]

Switching to the economy filter reveals an uncharted system's economy type, but not its wealth.

Uncharted systems are systems devoid of any sapient life aside of sentinels. They do not have native space stations or ships to encounter. Various planetary Points of Interest are not present, like Habitable Base or Ruins, and no Buried Technology Modules can be found. Before the NEXT update all systems were inhabited, thus their former inhabitants were wiped from existence.

Information on Galaxy Map[edit | edit source]

Switching to the conflict filter reveals an uncharted system's conflict level. This one is high conflict.

Uncharted systems show their name, the star type and region. The number of planets is not hidden even though it is supposed to be uncharted. At first glance, racial, security or economic data does not exist. But with a Conflict Scanner and an Economy Scanner installed, switching to the conflict and economy filters reveals that these systems actually have conflict and economy which can vary from system to system. There is no higher life here.

Concentration of Systems[edit | edit source]

Uncharted systems can be found all over the galaxy and are always red, green or blue in color. Red systems have a very high chance of being uncharted while green and blue systems have an average chance.

Bases[edit | edit source]

Signal Boosters will fail to find Habitable Bases on this type of system. If you wish to build a base, you'll need to build your own Base Computer to get started.
