Summary[edit | edit source]

The Alpha gender's blue-tipped frills.

Yiprolumn Ectizon is a species of megafauna Rangifae (diplo) located on a lush, rainy world, Anck Su Namun in the Bisticabi Boundary, a Galactic Hub region.

Besides their scientific name, the Prime gender is called Abanoub (possibly named after the Christian Egyptian saint and martyr of the same name), and the Alpha gender is called Jabari (reference unknown). They are generally found alone, and can often be seen using their long necks to lower their heads to the ground (presumably to eat).

They are considered one of the main fauna attractions for the Galactic Hub.

Appearance[edit | edit source]

Both genders have remarkably similar coloration: bright blue scales on the dorsal aspect of the body and neck; orange, reptile-like skin on the sides; and a softer-looking, off-white underbelly, somewhat like a snake from Earth biology.

The Prime gender (Abanoub) has two large "sails"/skin-covered spines extending from both the upper portion of the neck (posterior-facing) and the lower portion of the neck (anterior-facing).

The Alpha gender (Jabari) features a brown frill with vibrant blue tips. It also displays formations on its back which appear somewhat like barnacles on a whale, or possibly fungus. Although these formations could also be endogenous to the species (in other words, natural / not parasitic or foreign), their purpose is not immediately clear if this is the case.
