The Aesir Ascendancy is a civilized space community.
Summary[ | ]
The Aesir Ascendancy is a civilization located in the Beta Quadrant of the Euclid galaxy. It is a group dedicated to exploration, cultivation, and combat.
Background[ | ]
The Aesir Ascendancy is a wayfaring civilization that has settled in the Uveangbon Cloud of Euclid's Beta Quadrant. Since time immemorial, the Aesir have roamed the cosmos, using their superb knowledge of stars to traverse the vast expanse of the Euclid galaxy, never settling. They traded with local lifeforms and offered protection from the perils of space in exchange for units and knowledge. Finally, after the dust had settled from the Atlas Rises cataclysm, the High King ventured forth and found a home for his people - a home where they might put all the knowledge and wealth they had gained from their space-faring to use.
The Aesir Ascendancy is a member of the United Federation of Travelers.
Regions[ | ]
Uveangbon Cloud: Settled by High King Mercy-ayy,, the Uveangbon Cloud is the Ascendancy's ancestral home and the primary economic region. It is shaped like a deciduous tree, and split into three sections: Valhalla, Trunk, and Hel. Regional naming conventions denote ownership of the region (Aesir), spectral class (Y,R,G,B), and section (V,T,H) within squared brackets and separated by dashes (-). For example, [Aesir-Y-T] means it is an Aesir claimed system, yellow spectral class, in the trunk section.
Vucaer: Settled by Ammadeas, Vucar is located directly below the Uveangbon Cloud. This region is most notable for it's starship and freighter manufacturing. Regional naming conventions simply denote ownership of the region with an [Aesir] prefix.
Iutlerus Nebula: Settled by SweggerD, this region is notable for it's exotic planets and starships. Regional naming conventions denote the simple [Aesir} prefix when naming systems.
Ealiott Void: Settled by theroadwarrio773, this region connects to the Uveangbon Cloud on the Upper Right corner. Regional naming conventions denote the [Aesir] prefix when naming systems.
Nauoluw: Unsettled. This region serves as a diplomatic region where ambassadors can establish embassy systems, such as the Galactic Hub Embassy Aesir Ascendancy.
Capital[ | ]

Lokir is the capital planet of the Uveangbon Cloud. Originally, the capital planet was Ymir, a lush planet with peaceful conditions, but the address was corrupted and now brings visitors to Lokir. There is a habitable base within 25 minutes by foot (or 8 by exocraft). Visitors are advised to bring materials to construct a Nomad Geobay, as the planet is an archipelago.
Naming Conventions[ | ]
The Aesir Ascendancy does not have civilization-wide naming rules. Instead, naming rules are decided regionally or categorically. Hersirs that launch expeditions to new regions may choose the naming conventions of that region. Below are conventions currently in use:

The Capital system, (Aesir-Y-T) Bifrőst, is used as a hub for players entering the region. No permanent bases will be made in this system, so interlopers are encouraged to use it to recover ships if portal-jumping in.

Roles of Citizens[ | ]
Citizens of the Aesir Ascendancy are not mandated to do anything. As a citizen, you get access to all Ascendancy facilities. This includes the Aesir Megafarm, and in the future racetracks and other events.
Citizens of the Aesir Ascendancy are encouraged to explore and catalog the Uveangbon Cloud and it's surrounding regions and to update the wiki page accordingly. This is to create visibility for rare starships, multi-tools, etc.
Any citizen may, if they wish, apply for Hersir (representative) status. A Hersir acts as an adviser to the High King, and provides counsel on foreign policies. A Hersir may also establish embassy systems, should they choose.
A Hersir may also launch expeditions on behalf of the Aesir Ascendancy. Such expeditions may serve to locate S-class ships and multi-tools, locate rare planets for research, diplomatic missions, or any number of things. The main reason behind this is to gather as much information about surrounding areas, so that there can be variety in what citizens of the Ascendancy have access to.

The Aesir Ascendancy is a formal ally of the Galactic Hub Project.

The Aesir Ascendancy takes pride in not only it's exploration, but in trading with civilizations it encounters. The Aesir Ascendancy has trade agreements with the following civilizations:

As per the the deal, the Aesir Ascendancy was given a system 1320ly from the Pathfinders' to act as a waypoint for trading and exploration, the [Aesir] Forward Trade System, and the Pathfinders were granted access to the early access to the Aesir Megafarm during it's construction.
