AGT Euclid Outposts Map
The Alliance of Galactic Travellers or AGT is a Civilized space alliance of Travellers or No Man's Sky players and civilizations of players (PC & PS4) participating in nomadic exploration oriented gameplay within the NMS universe. The group was formed on 8 April 2017 during a discussion in the NMS Facebook Group and has grown from 15 initial members to over 1000.
Players participating in the coalition refer to themselves as Traveller and primarily meet on the AGT Facebook Group.
The mechanics of deep space navigation have evolved with each update, however iVc Navigator's Guide remains recommended reading for Travellers and tutorials are provided for the Pilgrim Star Process and Black Hole Roulette. Migration via portal travel was introduced with the [Atlas Rises]] era and the concept of migration through joining a multiplayer session was introduced with the NEXT update. If you are unsure on how best to utilise these, ask a friendly AGT Traveller on any of our social platforms.
Current Operations
The AGT is primarily a nomadic group of players who are free to base themselves in any quadrant of any galaxy of their choosing. Traveller members are free to explore, discover and research to their own ends, with a strong emphasis being placed on sharing information and discoveries within the AGT community so as to educate and enlighten the group as a whole.
The AGT have established recognised 'capital regions' in a number of galaxies. AGT travellers are free to base themselves in these regions either permanently or temporarily and to participate and flourish within a community of their peers. However it is noted and acknowledged that only a small percentage of the overall AGT group have made their homes within these regions, with the majority continuing a nomadic existence and basing themselves where their heart desires.
The AGT has established capital region operations in the following galaxies:
- Euclid : Yihelli Quadrant
- Hilbert : Louyen
- Eissentam : Kaoare (Eissentam Travellers Foundation, founding members of the AGT)
- Doctinawayra : Tihtir Sector

Standard Operating Procedures

- If you wish to avoid warping to a destination, we recommend you use the extensive AGT membership network for multiplayer-assisted access to the system/region. If you are unable to find a desired location, you may refer to the Galactic Voyager Initiative project for additional destination assistance.

Participation
The AGT is made up of members and Travellers. Members are a part of the AGT but do not participate in meta-play activities. Because they do not follow AGT Naming Conventions, they are not eligible to be registered on the Census of AGT Members.
Travellers follow AGT Naming Conventions and are eligible to register on the Census of AGT Members. They may or may not participate in meta-play activities.
Naming Convention
As a general rule of thumb, simply add AGT as a prefix or suffix (before or after) any star systems you upload to the servers.
Systems
Prefix your chosen name with AGT. Example:
- AGT (YourChosenName) | AGT Alpha Venturi
- AGT (PreGeneratedName) | Desolrow would become AGT Desolrow
Planets
No standard. You are free to name planets as you choose.

Although not compulsory, we would strongly advise that you prefix your chosen name with AGT. Examples:

Please note: When creating a new wikipedia entry for a renamed ship, be sure to create the page using the ORIGINAL name of the ship, not the rename.
In certain locations and circumstances, the AGT may follow expanded naming conventions specific to key operations or projects. However the basic addition of 'AGT' will always form part of any agreed expanded naming.
Census
Once you have joined the AGT as a Traveller (a participant who follows AGT Naming Conventions) we encourage you to add your details to the AGT Census. This allows us to establish the true size of the AGT and understand its influence in key quadrants and specific galaxies.
If you are not able to add details yourself, please contact an admin or moderator on any of the AGT's social platforms.

The Alliance of Galactic Travellers are explorers at heart. We love discovering or visiting interesting destinations During the Pathfinder era, we would recognise sites of profound interest in the universe of NMS to be an AGT Galactic Heritage Site.
During the Atlas Rises era, the AGT was pivotal in the creation and management of the Galactic Heritage Archive and we continue to research and acknowledge the rich history of our shared universe.

The AGT is a founding - and current - member of the United Federation of Travelers and offers support and friendship to all participating civilisations. We are most closely aligned with the Galactic Hub Project. We have partnered closely in the past with the Amino Hub and NMS Café (now Cafe 42).
