Alpha Expeditions is a division of the Trailblazer Corporation.

This organization has ceased operations, and is no longer in existence. It folded when the Trailblazer Corporation ceased operations and declared bankruptcy on June 18, 2020.
Alpha Expeditions is a subsidiary division of the Trailblazer Corporation which specializes in the collection of information in the Xbox universe on Normal mode.

Founding[ | ]
Founded by explorer Carter Brentwood, Alpha Expeditions was created on March 2, 2019, when the Trailblazer Corporation (then known as the Trailblazer Firm) was restructured into three organizational branches - each assigned to a region within the Xbox Universe. Alpha Expeditions was charged with the exploration and documentation of the Bizanz Cluster. On April 22, 2019, the firm was reorganized and Alpha Expeditions absorbed the other 2 subsidiaries.

The Alpha Expeditions headquarters were initially located on an outpost on planet Itusileus in the Elisto-Vej system known as Alpha Base Itusileus.
During 2020, the firm relocated their headquarters to Itusileus, a planet in the Elisto-Vej system of the Bizanz Cluster.

Nomenclature Policy[ | ]
The original systems discovered by Alpha Expeditions in the Bizanz Cluster have no (or very little) editing done to their original name.
- The Elisto-Vej system has only one renamed planet (Itusileus was originally designated Itusil M12).
- The Rahvali system features many altered planets, but with only slight modification (for example, Secon X25 was renamed Secon).
- Loogilj's only planet Uwaitham XIII was also uploaded with its original title.
After that - Alpha Expeditions formed the Trailblazer Suffix System (TSFX). This system combined the generated planet names with suffixes used in Germanic and British toponymy. Each suffix included the letter 'A' and most featured it at the beginning of the suffix. This system continued until April 22, 2019. When Alpha Expeditions absorbed its sister companies it also took over many of the suffixes and prefixes used by those branches. The rest were ceded to the newly created PS4 branch Omega Expeditions. The new system is known as the Trailblazer Nomenclature Alpha.
Alpha Expeditions nomenclature policy has been updated, although extremely similar to its predecessor. All Alpha Expedition systems will have a suffix ending in -s, -an, -on, -us, -axe, -ay, -y, ea,.

- Alpha Expeditions, retains no voting power and does not operate independently. It is owned, controlled by, and operated by the Trailblazer Corporation.
Trivia[ | ]
- The branch was designated Alpha because the Bizanz Cluster is the first region discovered by the Trailblazer Corporation; and Alpha is the first letter in the Greek alphabet.
- Alpha Expeditions originally investigated only a single region! Beta Expeditions and Gamma Expeditions also investigated Xbox territories but were ultimately absorbed.
