The Amino Hub is a Civilized Space community.

Summary

The Amino Hub is a Civilized Space community that was formed by members of the No Man's Sky Amino Hub app. The capital system of the hub is Amino Prime - AH and it's coordinates are here:

QETE:064A:0082:01B9:0022

The Amino Hub slogan is Community, Adventure, Discovery.

The capital of the Amino Hub is the system Amino Prime - AH, with a portal on the planet Zen/Baatarmaron:

Port System and Portal Location

21D4039BAE4B21D4039BAE4B

The port system of the Amino Hub is in the system AHAHAH -AH which is also the location of a rare squid ship. Players are encouraged to portal through to the planet Scorched Squid scan until you find a base. At this point you can scan until finding a location less than 4 minutes by exocraft and 16 minutes on foot. Once the base is claimed a player can move to permanent base in a nearby uninhabited system in the Ocopad Conflux or nearby faction regions. When claiming a base in the port system please make sure to turn base sharing off and then back on again when claiming your permanent base.

Background

NMS Survival Guru Les Stroud decided he wanted to replicate the original pilgrims trek by walking around the Pilgrim Star on survival mode with no hud. While accomplishing this feat he managed to get several amino app players and storytellers involved in meeting up at a central location. First arrivals included Boid Gaming on survival mode, and on normal mode Doglegsxr, Saphic701, SpaceArtGek and Andrtacc.

No Man's Sky Olympics

The Amino Hub hosted the NMS Olympics 2017 with games taking place in the region of the Ocopad Conflux 11/4/2017 through 12/03/2017.

Amino Hub Census

Upon reaching the Amino Hub, the first thing you should do is add your information to the Archive:Census - Amino Hub (Atlas) for the following reasons:

  • Gives the Amino Hub Leadership an accurate idea of the size of the civilization.
  • Allows other players to more easily locate your home base, and what game mode it's on (always optional if you don't want visitors).
  • Allows people to check which platform you're on (can be useful if you post something on the No Man's Sky Amino Hub app for example if they're wondering if it's on PC, PS4, or Xbox).

If you need help adding your information to the census please contact someone on the Amino Hub leadership team or ask a question in the general chat of No Man's Sky Amino Hub app.

Player bases

Note that all bases are in normal mode unless specified otherwise.

Naming Conventions

The Amino Hub naming conventions are simple. Players are encouraged to name systems after aspects of exploration, and add AH to the end of the system name or - AH. It is not recommended to name systems after weather or multi-tools (all that can be catalogued on the wiki anyway) due to potential game resets keeping the system name and changing the planets, as what happened with Atlas Rises. Brackets [AH] are also not recommended as it can make wiki editing difficult. Here are examples of how to properly name an Amino Hub system:

  • Local Serenity AH
  • Antimatter - AH

Amino Hub Regions

The Amino Hub has inhabited the following 24 regions all in close proximity to the Ocopad Conflux:

United Federation of Travelers

The Amino Hub forms alliances with NMS Hubs such as the Galactic Hub Project, Alliance of Galactic Travellers, and the Spacing Guild. The Amino Hub used to be part of the United Federation of Travelers and then in December 2017 left and became one of the founding members of the short-lived Intergalactic Coalition of Civilizations.

Amino Hub Games

On April 29, 2017 the four members of the Amino Hub joined together in their first (and the world's first) four-player event called the Amino Hub Games. The event featured participants BoidGaming, Niblet2121, NMS Survival Guru and SpaceArtGek on a 25 minute challenge to see who could scan the most animals. The stream was uploaded to YouTube and was the start of many new Amino Hub multiplayer challenges.

Collaborations

  • The Whiskey Outpost was created at the Ocopadica Defense Force Headquarters by Boid86 and Alan Plaz [AH]
  • Influenced by the SpaceArtGek discovery of two Astronomy Towers in Ocopadica, the Amino Hub has collaborated with the Galactic Hub on Stellar Research
  • During Atlas Rises a new Whole Foods Market base was constructed on planet Twin Vision by SpaceArtGek with help from nearby farms created at The Dark Tower by Ranger and NMS Cafe Base by player Bentley
