Summary[ | ]
The Anunaki are a Traveler race in the No Man's Sky universe.
They hail from the Elder Galaxy of the First Universe. Eons ago they were omnipotent, omniscient, and omnipresent. However, they are now but a husk of their former selves. They are currently seeking to restore their God-like powers through the Solarion Imperium they founded in the Euclid galaxy. There are whispers of the Anunaki preparing for a mass exodus to the Eissentam galaxy. Their name means Chosen of The Atlas.

Gods of the Elder Galaxy[ | ]
In an age that is long forgotten, the Atlas created the First Universe. Within its vast void many worlds were born. Among them, the greatest was Anuk Valyros. From this world came the Anunaki who became the First Universe`s first civilization. All of Anuk Valyros rose as a great cosmopolitan planet city with technology that defined space-time.
Biology and Appearance[ | ]
The Anunaki are a highly advanced inter-dimensional race with unfathomable intellect. Their bodies are but a corporeal form, created from the images of what lesser races are deemed to understand. Their real bodies are a mass of unknown energy projected in astral form that constantly warps space-time.
Common Traits[ | ]
- In their corporeal form, The Anunaki only have one set of organs; two brains. The second brain is located in the middle of their chest. This acts as their matrix.
- The Anunaki require no substances to survive.
- A red-gold aura radiates from their bodies.

The Anunaki worship only one entity; the Atlas. The Atlas created the Anunaki as its first children, an extension of its will to seek out the chaos of anomalies within its creation. The Anunaki were meant to be harbingers of civilization, cultivating and uplifting races to reach their Absolute Perfection without any anomalies of impurity. Across the Elder Galaxy the Anunaki created the civilization that the Atlas had intended. Countless races worshiped The Cult of The Atlas, and heralded the Anunaki as The Elder Gods.
