Disambig This article is about the current version of Axby Delta. For the Visions version, see Axby Delta (Visions).

Axby Delta is a planet in No Man's Sky.

Summary[ | ]

Axby Delta is a planet in the HUB1-15F Mila star system in the No Man's Sky universe.

It was formally home to the Greater Mushroom Beetle named Funky Claude, which was deemed extinct after the Origins Update. There is now a Mega Diplo found on planet Albursto, which is the system's new main fauna attraction. It is still home to a colony that has around 38 bases, which can be seen on the System Page picture in the gallery below. The colony also extends to the other planets in the system, where a number of bases can be found scattered.

After being shared by VanCorc & seamonkey420, the Galactic Hub Council selected this planet as the location of the second official Hub colony. A tropical colony theme was selected for the colony: all players building on this planet are encouraged, although not required, to have tropical-themed or underwater bases. All players are also encouraged to inhabit the main island, to create a dense 'island village' of interlopers - see "Notable Locations & Waypoints" section.

During the initial release of Origins, this planet was basically destroyed and the bases buried. However, Update 3.01 was released a day later and restored the colony.

IMAGE NAME COORDINATES
Axby Delta Interloper Island 1 Interloper Island (+4.10, -68.70)
DESCRIPTION: Main Colony Settlement: All players inhabiting Axby Delta, regardless of mode or platform, are encouraged to inhabit Interloper Island. This includes the island itself or the water immediately surrounding the island. The island actually sits within a massive bay, nearly a lake - it is only connected to the seas by a thin stretch of water directly south of the island. Interloper Island is also connected to the land which forms the bay by a small sandbar. Many players will be living in close proximity, and we desire to keep a tropical theme. As a result, Interloper Island has certain building guidelines to help minimize lag, pop-in, and other issues which arise from many bases in a small area.
  • Minimize the construction of glass
  • Minimize the construction of Teleporters
  • Keep your base relatively small
  • Wood textures are encouraged as the primary texture for bases
  • Use of Lantern Lights (next to Lab Lamp), Capillary Shells, Hexplate Bushes, and Candelabra Blooms (from Infrastructure) is encouraged.
Axby Peak 1 Axby Peak (PS4 Only) (+4.42, -68.57)
DESCRIPTION: Council Neighborhood on Interloper Island
Many members of the Galactic Hub Council inhabit this peak on Interloper Island:

Homes sit along the edge of the peak, with a community park area (Atlas Gardens) in the center.

Life[ | ]

Fauna[ | ]

  • There is an unknown number of fauna on this planet. The planet page shows as having no planetary fauna (see the Planet Page picture in the gallery) due to the planet itself being bugged because of the large amount of player made bases. However there are fauna on the planet that can be scanned but there is no definitive number of fauna.
