C. Aeppmylea is a creature.
Summary
C. Aeppmylea is a creature in the No Man's Sky universe.
It is a member of the Tetraceris genus. It is a friendly, and social creature, that prefers to stay in herds. It spends its days on the planet McFarlane in search for food, and avoiding the dinosaur-like fauna that also call the planet home, that like to prey on the C. Aeppmylea.
The C. Aeppmylea are a hoofed animal, with a dark brown body, white underside, and legs that have white stripes, not unlike an okapi, in which the creature was named after. The head and face of the fauna is similar to a northern tamandua anteater, its long snout helping it dig up mordite root which provide its nourishment. It has a relatively long, thick tail with a white oval marking on the top, as well as a similar marking on its back. It has white markings on the top of its head, and a dark grey tip on the end of its snout. It is also characterized by plating that covers the creature's shoulders, neck, and parts of its upper hind legs that are a beautiful bronze in color. The purpose of these are perhaps to protect the vital parts from attacks from other creatures. They have six purple ridges that run along either side of the back, behind the shoulders, and light sky blue markings around the eyes.
