Compressed Atmospheric Gas (or CAG) is a type of resource in No Man's Sky, grouped under the earth elements division.

Resources in this type are commonly used for crafting and charging technologies.

Gases can be harvested manually in trace amounts as secondary resources from certain types of flora in any biome, which must be scanned to reveal their secondary resources.

Gases can be harvested anywhere in specific biomes using Atmosphere Harvesters.

Gases can be mined industrially from Hotspots using Gas Extractors.
