Construction Research Unit is a portable base building product.
Summary[ | ]
Construction Research Unit is a portable base building product for discovering new blueprints in exchange for Salvaged Data. The Construction Research Unit provides access to a basic selection of construction components and parts, necessary for setting up a simple base. More blueprints can be obtained later from the Construction Research Station in the Space Anomaly.
It can be found in the Build Menu under Tech/Portable. Once deployed, it provides access to the following construction research trees and blueprints:
- Core habitation Tech
- Timber Shelters (Formerly Wooden Shelters)
- Includes floor panels, wall panels, roof panels, doorways and variants thereof.
- Stone Shelters (Formerly Concrete Shelters)
- Includes floor panels, wall panels, roof panels, doorways and variants thereof.
- Alloy Shelters (Formerly Metal Shelters)
- Includes floor panels, wall panels, roof panels, doorways and variants thereof.
Similar to the Construction Research Station, parts further down the tree can only be researched after all parts preceding them have been researched.
