The numerous venomous spines above its head are used for defense. E. Cryetlea is a vicious pack hunter with an insatiable hunger. The red stripes along its back match the red of its long bloodstained fangs.

First recorded on planet Ixhame Igay, where E. Cryetlea frolics in the water of its calm and sheltered seas. Their eyes never close, for they never sleep. Their swim is endless, unbroken by rest or respite. Scavengers, they feed upon the soft downward drift of plankton; feasting upon the dying remains of tiny organisms.
