Discovery[ | ]

Egneno Delta was discovered on 29 July 2018 by explorer roytheodd.

Planet type[ | ]

Egneno Delta is a striking, crimson moon circling a dull gray planet and joined by a dull gray moon. Upon entering its atmosphere the moon is exactly how it appears from space. It is covered in rust red grass, with low brown hills occasionally poking up through the color. The trees come in autumnally-colored copses and at night groves of star brambles illuminate the ground. The skies are full of high clouds that spill boiling rain a few times a day, taking the temperature to 230.2°F/110.1°C. While it's not raining, the moon stays within a pleasant temperature range; daytime highs reach 88.1°F/31.2°C and nighttime lows hit 65.7°F/18.7°C. The fauna and sentinels are all friendly, so as long as you have a means to weather the storms this is a charming moon to explore on foot or on wheels.

Points of Interest[ | ]

Egneno Delta is covered with points of interest and intelligent life, but for some reason Signal Boosters won't locate them (pointing to off-planet locations instead) and Beacons return zero results. Discoveries include Abandoned Buildings, Colonial Outposts, Drop Pods, Galactic Trade Terminals, and Manufacturing Facilities. More than one field of Ancient Data Structures and more than one Crashed Freighter have been discovered.

Beacons[ | ]

A Save Beacon has been placed at the Trading Post where Traveller "Tra.ve//er Subon" is found.

Resources[ | ]

The following resources are available on Egneno Delta.

Name Category Type Node
Albumen Pearl Trade Commodity Humming Egg
Condensed Carbon Refined Organic Element Red crystals
Copper Refined Stellar Metal Resource Deposit
Di-hydrogen High Energy Substance Blue crystals
Silver Valuable Asteroid Mineral Resource Deposit
Sodium Nitrate Refined Catalytic Element Yellow crystals
Vortex Cube Trade Commodity Subterranean Relic

Sentinels[ | ]

The sentinels offer only "low security" to Egneno Delta's resources. They only trigger when they are attacked, when the facility they are guarding is attacked, or when fauna or resources are overharvested.
