"The First Hub Expansion" refers to the community decision to expand the Galactic Hub Project into the Eapustafiges Adjunct.
While the Galactic Hub Project has mostly referred not just the Rentocniijik Expanse, but to the surrounding regions as well, the community focus has usually been on that specific region. Once it became apparent that the Rentocniijik Expanse was essentially fully explored on the PS4, the community was asked to vote on the next region to focus on.
As the Center of the universe still calls to us all, popular vote suggested that the community head in that general direction. As the Eapustafiges Adjunct is the neighboring region to the Rentocniijik Expanse in that direction, it has been officially added to the project.
