All discoveries in No Man's Sky can be found using different methods.
Summary[ | ]
Most things in No Man's Sky can be found by the use of different Scan technology, such as: Resources, Fauna, Damaged Machinery, and Shelters.
Some things can be found visually that don't show up on scans such as Debris and containers that can be looted. Blueprints can be found randomly in buildings after solving puzzles or given as quest and Journey Milestone rewards.
Technology upgrades[ | ]
Scan technology and upgrades are available for Multi-tools and Exocrafts. Starships have built in scanners that cannot be upgraded.
