Summary

It is available when the player is in space in their starship and can be accessed by pressing // (PS4/PC/Xbox). While viewing the map, the player can choose to follow a selected waypoint or free exploration.
Galactic Waypoints
At the top of the Galactic Map screen is the Waypoint view selection. It can be changed by pressing ?/File:Key.q.png or File:Key.e.png/? (PS4/PC/Xbox). These are not to be confused with planetary waypoints.
- Options from left to right:
- Path towards galactic core
- Free exploration mode (no waypoint on map)
- Path towards waypoint (selected from Discoveries list)
- Path towards Black hole
- Path towards Atlas Interface (unused if you've completed the Atlas Path)
Additional information
- On PC, when the player is focused on the system discovered by themselves, pressing File:Keywide.tab.png + will allow the player jump to nearest discovered system by themselves. (27th August, 2016)
