Gamma Polaris is an inhabited tenary star system.

Summary[ | ]

Gamma Polaris is a star system at the end of the Gamma meridian in the Euclid galaxy. It is the extreme coordinate for the Gamma Spiral and one of the cornerstones of Euclid. It lies directly at The Fade. Its primary star is yellow, with the other two stars being blue and purple.

The system is currently under new supervision of Manager Heml who is assisted in his mission by the loyal aide Underling Vaino. The convoys and tradefleets as well as civilian insurance control lies within the responsibility of Gek Captain Anudagury who works closely with the mercenary leader and war hero Flagbearer Ahnge. The security is LOW for anyone that doesn't pay their insurance fees and even those that pay are still under threat of the buccaneer squadrons of up to six members. Accidents tend to happen, mostly to tardy debtors.

Aboard the space station the Gek offer their greenhouse to paying visitors.

PC Original: Nieldebir

One could imply that Trade Envoy Elnin failed his company as his years of service saw a steady profit, but an expensive endeavour to escort the convoys out of the system past the pirates. For many outsiders it looked like they too profited from these occurrences. Piracy never vaned and the envoy never saw a punishment. After the temporal anomaly N07E24-X20T18 things changed. Needless to say rumours die hard and his unfortunate demise upon recall to his mother corporation by a pirate squadron only fuels both sides of conspiracy. Was he punished by his former employer for incompetence past his degradation or did the pirates silence a potential leak and witness for their little schemes. Either way the company has returned in force, now employing a full mercenary fleet of Vy'keen warriors to slowly win the war against the pirates. A war many locals would love to end rather sooner than later. Both sides have only become more vicious with the Gek's demise.

Afterwards, the system was under supervision of Mining Overseer Kuda who was assisted in their mission to exploit the system by Resource Analyst Lagfre. It remained the only beacon of Euclid that was ridden with rampant insurgents which stop at nothing to relief the ruling company from their hard earned money, or their trade goods. Due to the incompetence and leisure of the former trade envoy of the Gek, the Gek corporation had hired the mercenaries of Cadet Tongcodol, a Vy'keen. While the economy was doing fine with the help of escorts, the company planned to invest the money for the convoy guards into actual projects with future revenue.

At the time of the Atlassian birth cycle of OR23I09-GI20NS20, the system had not been pacified. Instead the corporation learned to live with the nuisance of constant pirate raids. The mercenary group of Cadet Tongcodol was expanded and the competent Flagbearer Ahnge now leads the entire anti-piracy operation. His liason within the government is Gek Captain Anudagury who is in charge of the corporations convoys and corporate fleets. Civilians can only expect their protection for an insurance fee. The streamlined exploitation of the system and continued success now lies solely in the hands of Manager Heml, who took over and expanded the initial reclaimation under Mining Overseer Kuda and established new trade relations with the Korvax. His loyal aide Underling Vaino always remains by his side. Only time will tell if the system can yet turn around for its people or solely focuses on profit.
