[HUB-G-15] HaTzafon is a star system in the Galactic Hub located a mere 58.0 light years away from [HUB-G-211] Lennon in the Rentocniijik Expanse. It has a total of four worlds, Akko, HaGalil, Tzfat and Afula.
The capital, Akko is a hot planet with frequent sandstorms that the locals call "Hamsin" which elevate the temperature to rather extreme degrees. Despite all of this, the Gek settled this world and propagated through it. It has a very busy Trading Platform with ships constantly coming and going and even queueing for landing. It has some flora and a bit of fauna that adapted to the increased heat that the planet receives.
HaGalil (Mango Afternoon on PS4), the second planet visited, is a resource rich planet which happens to be a beautiful one with a serene atmosphere and passive Sentinels. It's also the home of a ~4m diplo species.
Tzfat was the third planet discovered; it is a beautiful paradisiac world, with scarce resources and densely populated by fauna.
Afula is a toxic, dead planet with no resources of note and other qualities.
The HaTzafon System seems to be a trading hub for the Gek as high traffic can be seen in all Trading Platforms and both the Space Station and Freighters. The traders here specialize in energy recharging products, such as Power Gels and Canisters and Shielding Sheets, Plates and Shards
The system and its planets get their name from the Northen Region of Israel (HaTzafon lit: The North) and some of its cities.
Akko: system's capital. Trading hub. Hot, not a lot.
Afula: toxic, dead planet.
HaGalil on PC, Mango Afternoon on PS4
Tzfat: paradise planet. Lots of animals
Of these, HaGalil is a resource-rich planet with good atmospheric/weather conditions and relaxed Sentinels. Lush, large trees, and diplos! (Rangifae).
Station[ | ]
Orbiting Afula, the space station seems to receive heavy traffic coming mainly from Akko, Tzfat and of course Afula. Ships of various classes and power land in here. Perfect to switch to a better starship. The traders specialize in energy containers and rechargers.
