[HUB1-$-D55] Banks is a star system in No Man's Sky.
Summary[ | ]
[HUB1-$-D55] Banks is a star system in the No Man's Sky universe. It is the permanent home of explorer Nicky_Tsardust.
The portal on Azad has been activated and marked with a beacon. The main attractions of Banks are Gurgeh, a large, toxic world with a species of 5.9m-tall docile T-Rex, and Azad, a small lush moon with extensive underwater cave systems. While not in the tags, Murrine can rarely be found on the surface of Azad, along with Radon in small, red bushes and Mordite trees.

PlanetImage | Azad (Fauna-rich, RaMo, Lush) | Lush Moon | NO | NO |
Resources. | 100% Zoology Bonus: ZoologyBonusAmount | Notes: Moon of Gurgeh. Murrine can also be found on this moon. It was discovered just after the planet was uploaded, hence why it is not included in the name. Deep red oceans cut between green-and-orange islands populated with various fauna, with various underwater cave systems burrowing underneath said islands.. The worlds Gurgeh and Echronedal hang low in the sky, while Gurgeh's other moon, Imasho, is permanently eclipsed by Gurgeh. Name is reference to the Empire of Azad from Iain M. Banks's novel Player of Games. Home of explorer Nicky_Tsardust.
PlanetImage | Gurgeh (ThPu, Geo, 5.9 T-Rex, Tox) | Acrid Planet | NO | NO |
Resources. | 100% Zoology Bonus: ZoologyBonusAmount | Notes: Home of a rather impressive species of 5.9m-tall T-Rex. No aggressive/carnivorous species. Large snake-like rock formations slither across the surface. Named after the character Jernau Gurgeh from Iain M. Banks's Player of Games.
PlanetImage | Imsaho (ThPuAP, Barren, Hot) | Hot Moon | NO | NO |
Resources. | 100% Zoology Bonus: ZoologyBonusAmount | Notes: Moon of Gurgeh. Barren of all life, other than Solanium and Albumen Pearls. Constantly-orange atmosphere matches the sandy ground. Named after a Drone in Iain M. Banks's Player of Games.
PlanetImage | Echronedal (Barren) | Dead Planet | NO | NO |
Resources. | 100% Zoology Bonus: ZoologyBonusAmount | Notes: Boring. Vibrant pinks and yellows make up the canyon-riddled landscape, but there is no resource there worth the minute-long pulse engine flight that you can't get anywhere else. Named after the 'Fire Planet' in Iain M. Banks's Player of Games. |
