Iburri is a star system.

Summary[ | ]

Iburri is an unsuccessful energy star system on the outer rim of the Delta Quadrant in the Euclid galaxy.

The system belongs to the Vasho Ascendancy under supervision of SalesGek Ofberunna. Despite attempts to establish a working industrial economy in the near lifeless system, interference of sentinels has led to its decline. The Ascendancy was forced to renounce their efforts to produce Dirty Bronze and Grantine, despite its rich Copper supplies on Iburri 3 to accompany the Iridium mines of Iburri Prime. At this point it barely is able to support the energy production of its mother system Vasho nearby to return the initial 'investments'. Due to this the Ascendancy only sends minor patrols along to deal with the occasional sentinel intrusion or some pirates. Unless outsiders are looking for a rare trade opportunity, its neighbour system Vasho is the better place to go. Its security is MEDIUM!

Aboard the space station respected trade partners are allowed to access the local stellar archives or to seek respite among the flowery scent of the local greenhouse behind the trade terminal.

Planets & Moons[ | ]

  • Iburri 1 is a lifeless planet. Remnants of intelligent or at least sentient machines are littering the surface and have become distorted by the local anomalies. While the Gek don't care if they were sentinels, their application for their ships or their exploitation is researched.
  • The only planet with a breathable atmosphere is Iburri Prime. The second planet of the system is rich in fauna and has a hardened flora. It is a mild desert planet, with extremely cold nights (around -50°C), but mild and sunny days. That is unless a blaze storm of hot sand comes along and skins the unprepared alive while it cooks them at around 110°C. Cold and heat protection are adviced if people seek to trade here, an endeavour that might not be worth the risk due to the systems poor state.
  • Iburri 3 is home to the dancing chemical spheres the Yuhymunosh Anomaly is known for. Despite attempts to harness its rich copper veins, the sentinels researching the anomaly on the planet have halted any attempts at establishing a base, let alone a mine. This planet is under Atlas control!
