Planet type[ | ]
Kamenko Rusty is a furnace of a planet. Its weather-beaten surface is covered with rusty, red soil. Beneath the soil is a hard, brown stone which rises above ground, forming hills that resemble tubular waves. All of this is viewed through a visor that shimmers in the endless heat. Kamenko Rusty will consistently tax an exosuit’s coolant network. The daytime temperature is 131.5° F, with nights being even hotter at 153.5° F. Storms bring the temperature to a sweltering 246.8° F. The planet lacks sufficient shelter from the heat. True caves are few, but where the “tubular waves” rise up from the ground there are often indentations that will allow the temperature level to stabilize.

Kamenko Rusty has a fair amount of Waypoints and most of them offer shelter. If there were more caves on the planet it would likely be walkable, but with the heat as it is the planet is best explored from the air. Discovered waypoints include antiquities (plaques and ruins), colonial outposts (Manufacturing Facilities and Operations Centres), travel aids (Save Beacons and Drop Pods), and trail resources (camps and depots).
