Discovered Date[ | ]

Description[ | ]

Lalupusc XVI is a brownish planet from space, scarred over by wide valleys that form crisscrosses and whorls across the globe. Once on the surface, the land changes from browns to reds with the same pattern of scars appearing in miniature in the soil. The landscape is pocked with low hills and deep, cave-like valleys. The peculiar, tall trees are batched into thin copses. The planet is perpetually hot and will constantly tax Hazard Protections. The minimum temperature is 121.8°F/49.9°C and the max is 125°/51.7°C with occasional firestorms making it 200.6°F/93.7°C. The most striking feature of the planet is the flora K. Suncocyxea, which give off a phosphorescent light when viewed from above. They create a beautiful light show for passing starships at any time of day or night, especially when the rings of the neighboring planet are seen as a backdrop. This planet has a secondary joy and it is low flying fauna. Lalupusc XVI has many canyons and it is a common sight to see S. Felindasii and O. Beetogolia flying at the tops of those canyons, which from some perspectives is ground level.
