Multi-tool classes[ | ]
Multi-tool classes were added with Update 1.20. Class S is the most powerful, followed by classes A, B, and C.

Add-ons[ | ]
Multi-tools of each specialisation type (except for Royal, Sentinel, Atlantid and Voltaic Staff) can be found with add-ons, which make them rarer and more sought after by explorers. These are Green Tubes, Horns, and Crystals. Below are some examples of multi-tools of each type exhibiting the possible add-ons:

Pathfinder catalog[ | ]
Beginning with the Atlas Rises update, multi-tools are indexed using the specialisation types. As these types were only introduced with the Pathfinder update, all multi-tools documented before that time were grouped into categories based on the general appearance of the weapon.
