N. Allirimmea is a creature.

Summary[ | ]

N. Allirimmea is a creature in the No Man's Sky universe.

It is a member of the Procavaquatica genus. This creature is a rodent-like swimming fauna that lives in the frigid waters of the planet Seppalla. The water on this planet is about -85f during the day but it does not seem to bother the Niley.

Appearance[ | ]

The Niley is gray in color, and has ears similar to a mouse, with a canine-like snout. Its' eyes are a light blue, indicating their inability to see. Two blunt horns protrude from the creature's head, and four orange colored prongs on it's back which seems to have a protective layer. The Niley has four legs with frog-like feet, and also has a rather short and fat tail similar to a lizard. The Niley is also covered in relatively small leopard prints.

Behaviour[ | ]

Little is known about the Niley, it is known that it is apparently visually impaired but still seems to use its eyes. It is speculated the eyes of the creature serve only the use of telling whether or not it is daylight out. The creature swims in groups of four to five, and probably spends its days seeking out rotten wood to provide nourishment. It is also not known, but speculated that the four prongs on its back serve as feelers or sensors.

Discovery Menu[ | ]

Niley (N. Allirimmea) was first encountered in the icy depths of planet Seppalla. Nervous and fast-moving, they shimmer and dart as they swim, desperate to avoid the lurching snap of jaws from the deep. Scavengers, they feed upon the soft downward drift of plankton; feasting upon the dying remains of tiny organisms.
