Negri is a star system.
Summary[ | ]
Negri is a prosperous energy star system on the outer rim of the Delta Quadrant in the Euclid galaxy. It is the rich border system of the Traveller's Guild near the Demulle Instability and the first or last system people see when coming or leaving. It is an important refueling station in the Yuhymunosh Anomaly and beyond due to its huge Antimatter refineries.
Aboard the space station Traveller Ucherme is willing to advice visitors about the dangers of either region and works with the local Korvax settlers to offer a wide array of options. Despite this collective effort, pirates see this rich traffic and trade hub as a proper target and the Traveller's Guild alone can't handle the danger. It repeatedly asks visiting mercenaries to shot any pirate they see, but the appeal of the system is just too high. They always return for more profit. The security is LOW!
Aboard the space station the guild is happy to share its emergency supplies and biofuel from its greenhouse with tired veteran explorers and Travellers. For those willing to educate themselves further, the local Korvax have compiled a library of famous explorers in several languages, theirs included.
On its innermost planet, a primal species similar to the Gek has been found. While people speculate they might be a similar proto-race or even deevolved Gek after some got stranded here in the past, any notion of Negri towards the Gek and its 'discovery' will ultimately lead to insults. More extremist groups of the Gek actually embrace the idea, calling for a 'liberation' of the system.

- Negri Prime suffers from high radiation due to its proximity to the sun. Even during the night the radiation doesn't fall below 5.8 Rad. Nonetheless supplies the planet most of the materials for the system's antimatter refineries.
- Negri 2 is a cold world with a weak atmosphere. Its temperature during the night drops down to -66.5°C. During the day however, the sublimation of the snow under direct sunlight steals even more of its remnant heat and it drops further down to -69.9°C. Past events have led to hostilities with local sentinels who still guard the planet against any transgression. It is rumored Ehbog-Unoz tried to follow them to their homeworld. The Traveller was killed in the process and his grave can be found on the planet.
- Napadar is a dead and empty world. Even though it has a protective atmosphere, the constant radiation of 6.5 Rad and a lack of biological proliferation have left it nearly devoid of flora and definetly of fauna.
- Omenus is another dead world in the empty void of space. Far from its beloved sun, the warmth decays and an eternal cold darkness of -67.7°C envelopes the lone planet and its moon. Out on the fringe, no life could hope to flourish, not even by sunray's mercy alone. Omenus Geer escaped this fate. A thick and toxic atmosphere shields the little warmth that comes here from simply escaping. Despite its acidic atmosphere, life has flourished in special ways. Maybe the extreme but rather constant acidity allowed for special creatures to develope. After all the base acidity never drops below 100 Hammett, with 105.8 Hammett during clear weather and only 104.1 Hammett during rain, as the acidic particles in the air get washed out... a little.
