Outer Rim Oreworks is a company in No Man's Sky.
It is based in the Xeblact Sector region of the Euclid galaxy with process centers opened in various regions and galaxies.
Originally, the home office was on Kowak Lunar in the Rothana Zone (Usiscry Sector). The home office was moved in July 2022 to the Alpha Quadrant (from Delta) to be closer to the other ORO branches. We then moved in August 2022 to Xeblact Sector because we wanted to mine out an entire region for ourselves.

Operating as a supply line for the NMS Galactic Empire, the ORO also offers free trading and franchise options for players in No Man’s Sky.

Background[ | ]
Outer Rim Oreworks, or ORO as it is known to the staff, started life as the "Mining and Resource Acquisition Department" (MRA) of the NMS Galactic Empire and served as the major supply line to the Empire.
The MRA, first created by Governor Willhuff Tarkin, worked well for the Empire and with the addition of Director Biggs (now Governor Biggs) the ability to serve additional Imperial citizens became more efficient. The ingenious use of Autominers and Atmosphere harvesting made a huge impact on that ability.
With the Beyond update it became clear that the MRA could become something greater than just a supply line and with the merging with Eriadu Mining (an experimental venture using the new mining equipment), Outer Rim Oreworks was born.
