R. Musiretioe is a creature in the No Man's Sky universe.

It is a member of the Rangifae genus.

Appearance[ | ]

This large, diurnal Rangifae is informally known as the Jade Hood Diplo. Appearing widely across the planet, this beast is a well loved symbol of the Galactic Hub Project, being located on the Hub's capitol planet of New Lennon.

R. Musiretioe is a towering mega diplo with gray skin and green patterning.

One gender has a large cobra hood and finned neck, while the other lacks the hood but has a larger flowy sail along its neck and a frill at the neck's base.

Found primarily on the grassy plains of Enima 34/L6. They interact with their fellow beasts with a cheerful confidence, secure in the hierarchy of the herd. Their diet appears highly specific; they nibble only the freshest new shoots from local plantlife.
