The Galactic Republic is a community to play No Man's Sky in a peaceful and fun way, where we can all share experience and learn tricks and more from other players.
All players are welcome to play together and peacefully. Everyone can express and share their game and feel with respect.
We communicate by the application Amino - ("Republica Galactica" - http://aminoapps.com/c/AlianzaGalactic); each member must add to their amino profile the faction to which they belong.
Background / History
This is our story:
Our story began hundreds of years ago, in a galaxy that I did not know, from my ancestors came out of it forced to escape the extermination. We are a race without culture or traditions, our ancestors were forgetting, replacing or simply merging customs alien to ours leaving in oblivion everything that made us who we were.
The only thing that comes to my knowledge is what my father told me, which he heard from his parents and so, through generations back, and so centuries after centuries for more than a thousand years.
Now I will tell you the only thing I learned from my parents and the last scribe with direct descendants by centuries of scribes who died in my hands ...
According to the manuscripts of this scribe and written in my original language which I still have and carved tables in our hieroglyphics which I still can not understand at all because I was not fully educated...
And from what my father and grandfather taught me, our race was one of proud soldiers, of flourishing military technology, and an incredible wealth.
But with a decadent political class that led our galaxy to isolate itself from the rest, losing more and more influence and winning more enemies than friends.
In a time when we had many wars to maintain control of our galaxy, came an unknown enemy, small beings but very wild and bloody, his cruelty in contrast to his stature.
How is it that we lost the war to such a formidable enemy is an unknown that I can not yet decipher. Lost among the stars in an immense and unknown universe without any indication of which route the ancestors took to leave our universe and our world.
The technology we have today is nothing like that of then. But everything is lost, teaching and traditions, everything learned for centuries was lost.
These tables and manuscripts tell stories and legend of hidden settlements with locations that I still can not decipher.
Today the races know us as a people without a world, a homeless race and people without a past. Travelers explorers, nomads of space ...
Escape from the extermination, but we are condemned to an endless trip back to a home that no one knows how to reach.
In this era, pure and mixed descendants have created a Galactic Republic known as Overlords ... while others continue as tireless travelers in search of the mother galaxy and the home system ...
This is the story I know about my people.
