Updated Echoes

The Singularity Cortex is a Living starship propulsion method.

Summary[ | ]

The Singularity Cortex is the Living starship's faster-than-light propulsion drive to aid players travel across galaxies. By default, each warp between star systems consumes 20% of the Singularity Cortex's fuel supply. It requires 60 Chromatic Metal or 96 Living Slime to fully charge.

The base range of a Singularity Cortex is 101 light-years (ly) and the player can warp to any systems.

Game description[ | ]

A complex bio-metallic stem plugged directly into an antimatter heart. Registers high activity during interstellar jumps. It appears to delight in the complex calculations required for FTL travel.

Access long-distance navigation systems through Galactic Map. Keep the ship happy by regularly jumping between systems.

Crafting[ | ]

Singularity Cortex can be repaired using the following ingredients:

Singularity Cortex cannot be dismantled.

Upgrades[ | ]

  • Singularity Cortex Node - Potential improvements include warp-drive efficiency and jump distance (see info in gallery below).
  • Singularity Cortex Node can evolve for NANITES: C to B - 210 NANITES, B to A - 310 NANITES, A to S - 430 NANITES.
  • The total number of nanites required to evolve a Singularity Cortex Node from C to S is 950 NANITES.
