The Uyllifiar-Urge Fragment

The Uyllifiar-Urge Fragment

The First Spawn (or Gek Dominion) invaded Korvax Prime after the Vy'keen galactic conflict with the sentinels ended. During the invasion, the Korvax's main neural networking hub, the Convergence, was almost completely annihilated and their home and capital planet, Korvax Prime, was itself shredded into asteroid-esque chunks, killing billions of unborn and elderly Korvax alike whose deaths were collectively witnessed by the survivors.

When the Convergence was destroyed, the ancient memories of hundreds of millions of departed Korvax were erased forever with it. This act of obliteration caused horrific agony across the planet, and gave its name to this period in history, "that which destroyed all that gone before."

A Korvax plaque found on the moon Banks and known as The Uyllifiar-Urge Fragment describes the destruction of Korvax Prime as follows:

The masks and shells of the Korvax survivors shook with the screams of the disconnected. Lights dimmed as the enemy descended, malevolent in its intent. Their numbers were too many. Korvax Prime was destroyed.

Aftermath[ | ]

Enslaving the majority of the members of the Korvax species in an act of "Mercy", the Gek placed the Korvax into horrific conditions of slavery, abused and neglected even into destruction where their robotic bodies were stripped down, examined, and melted down into more equipment for the First Spawn's war effort.

The Testament of the Korvax contains the following cry of despair:

The Korvax were enslaved, driven by cruelty to fulfil the despot's bidding. The First Spawn of the Gek were terrible masters, merciless in their spite, illogical in their cruelty. Countless entities toiled and disconnected.

The Great Disconnection is a rough translation of the Korvax phrase "amillov ovetsialnyokha".
