The Overseer's Tour is a secondary mission.
Summary[ | ]
The Overseer's Tour is a repeatable secondary mission. The mission, which can be completed once every 24 hours (real time, not game time), tasks the player with taking a photograph on a specific type of planet.
Walkthrough[ | ]
Starting the Mission[ | ]
The player may only initiate the mission once the following two conditions have both been met:
- The player has finished the mission Expanding the Base.
- At least 24 hours have passed in real time since the mission was last completed (or the player has never completed this mission before).
Once the prerequisites have been met, the player must speak with the Overseer (NPC) at a Construction Terminal and accept their request for a glimpse of the outside world.
The Overseer's Tour[ | ]
The mission will ask the player to use Photo Mode to take a photograph on a planet with a specific biome. Screenshots taken within a starship are acceptable as long as the player is close enough to the surface to be within its atmosphere. Like with Mission Board photography missions, a notification will appear in the lower-right corner once a qualifying photograph has been captured. At this point, the player must return to the Overseer and transmit the file in order to claim the mission's reward, a random Lost Artifact which the Overseer happened to have on hand.
Rewards[ | ]
- A Lost Artifact of random rarity
