The Republic of Galactic Travelers is a civilized space community.
Summary[ | ]
Due to the impending update of No Man's Sky NEXT, the founders have decided to relocate the Republic from the current region and to a different part of the Euclid galaxy.
The Republic of Galactic Travelers is a civilization in the Euclid galaxy of No Man's Sky, and is a democratic republic. It was founded by user jacksonsc77 on the First of January, 2018.
The sole and functioning purpose of the Republic is to promote galactic travel, including thoroughly exploring and recording systems and planets in the region The Arm of Teoria, the main region of the Republic. In addition to promoting thorough travel, it also supports the documentation of flora, but especially fauna.

The Constitution Of The Republic of Galactic Travelers
WE, the founders of the republic, do hereby attest to fulfill the promises of space, system, and planet exploration for the mutual benefits of ALL. WE, do hereby commit to executing our promises through peaceful manners, and only resorting to other means when suspected and proven necessary. WE, hereby establish this civilized space colony as a democratic REPUBLIC. WE, hereby welcome any and all travelers to join us in our missions. . .
Government[ | ]
This civilized space colony was established as a democratic republic, meaning it has an elected leader, the Chancellor, and a representative body, the Senate. Each traveler who joins RGT is guaranteed a seat as a Senator, but they must choose whether they represent a sole planet or an entire system as a whole; they may not represent the same planet or system of another traveler.
The Chancellor is the leader, and is elected to a 4 month term by a majority of the Senate. The Chancellor cannot immediately run for re-election; they would have to wait till the end of their successor's term to vie for the position again. The Chancellor oversees the vital and fundamental operations of the RGT and all of its activity, including the economy, the military fleet, safety, and importantly, matters of exploration and documentation. They preside over the Senate as the Chair. Additionally, the Chancellor's office is located in the Embassy on the capital world.
The Senate is a representative body comprised of senators from different planets and systems. The Senate, at the very least, meets once per month. There, in the Senate chambers located in the Embassy on the capital world, they debate proposals and decide the course of the RGT.

Due to the small membership of the RGT, the only presiding officer is the interim Chancellor, user jacksonsc77.

The prime leading freighter of the Republic is the RGT Capital Constellation. The Vice freighter is the RGT Resistance.

How To Become A Member[ | ]
Currently, because of the update of No Man's Sky NEXT, the co-founders have decided to re-locate the RGT to a different section of the Euclid galaxy and start anew. More information will become available once a permanent colony has been established.
