Tosek 78/Z9 is a dusty moon of Edaemon VII in the star system Egionetsk.
Planet Information[ | ]
Original notes: A very dusty and dirty desert moon due to the near-constant sand blizzards. It is dominated by massive headcrabs.
Explorer Bison's notes: I got out of my ship and it was a big mistake. In the middle of a sand blizzard, I got blown like tumbleweed. It took me a while to get back, only to find my ship tossed around like a ragdoll. Boy was I blown so far.

Despite being a highly dangerous system, Egionetsk is still full of wonderful surprises. The predatory headcrabs from Eoti are highly sought after, thanks to its high quality meat and excellent adhesive, all in good supply thanks to their rapid reproduction. Meanwhile, the massive headcrabs in this moon are just that, except it's at least 80 times better at 8,000 - 8,000,000 times the price!
Because these massive, nightmarish beauties reproduce so slowly, poaching and hunting are effectively kept in-check. Illegal activities, no matter how covert or sneaky, are always caught in no-time, shortly followed by a death sentence by dismembering of the heart. This is the capital system after all!
The headcrabs here, U. Radiohaktolera, are at least 8.0m tall, have a really delicious meat. However, because their stomachs are already heated to begin with, the meat can be eaten raw because it's already cooked. They also have a little bit of sentience, as they're observed to plant seeds and saplings across the moon. Unlike the Eoti headcrabs, they're more of herbivores, having a diet consisting mainly of vine whips, venus flytraps and oxytoxiblasts. The waste they produce is a sticky greenish stool that is significantly more potent than the Eoti Headcrabs' webs, due to the presence of a bacteria that produce the stuff. Just a penny-sized spot of the adhesive is enough to easily suspend a fully loaded 48-slot S-class hauler.
They are significant in the luxury gourmet food market and in construction of anything that requires a powerful adhesive to hold everything in place, like Freighters and Titans.
