Vasho is a star system.
Summary[ | ]
Vasho is a prosperous energy star system on the outer rim of the Delta Quadrant in the Euclid galaxy.
The system is the headquarter of the Vasho Ascendancy under supervision of Navigator Ischelman. The local 'corporation' does not tolerate any danger to the system, especially its rather dangerous planet Vasho 1 (also called Mementia). Any unidentified ship or those straying from their trade routes without approval are mercilessly persecuted. Thus its security level is HIGH!
Aboard the space station respected trade partners have the chance to enjoy the fruits of the two greenhouses aboard the station. A refill of precious nanites is also included as a customer service. Reports of mind altering properties are vastly exaggerated.
Planets & Moons[ | ]
- Even though Vasho 1 (also called Mementia) is settled and exploited by the Gek, its extremely cold climate (-99°C to -124°C at night) makes it unsuitable as a trade hub. People claim to have been escorted out of certain regions which act like restricted zones. Rumours say the Gek have hidden genetic vaults and breeding grounds below the frozen surface of the ice world.
- The system's actual trade hub is Vasho Prime. While many would shy away from the noxious atmosphere and alkaline mists up to 56 Hammett, the Gek survive just fine in this climate. Rumours say this system was purposely chosen as their headquarters to dissuade non-Gek from entering. Others say their natural resistance just made them the only one to do so.
