Vesuvit is a star system.
Summary[ | ]
Vesuvit is a prosperous scientific star system on the outer rim of the Delta Quadrant in the Euclid galaxy. It is the heart of the Ancient Warriors research initiative in superior fighters and battleships.
The system is the current capital of the Ancient Warriors. It is supervised by the respected and powerful Enforcer Kargadal. Due to his rigid pursuit of enemies, no one escapes alive for long. Interlopers are left in peace and indirectly enjoy HIGH security!
Aboard the space station there are server archives telling visitors about worthy prey and a botanic garden for rations on the road near the trade terminal. Nanites are presented to worthy visitors as a sign of respect. Taking them however, is a show of weakness.
Planets & Moons[ | ]
- Vesuvit Prime is a frightening planet. Close to its sun its warm days of 38.2°C would lead no one to question its benign nature. That is until the treacherous storms come out and skin any visitor alive with 106°C hot sandpaper. Just to mock its own extreme, its thin atmosphere and bright surface doesn't trap this heat and lets it dissipate during the night. The temperature quickly falls down to -57.3°C in its darkest hour. This planet is a Vy'keen in a nutshell and a worthy trade capital for their nation.
- Vesuvit 2 is a dead and lifeless goldmine. It's real value lies with one of its two moons. While the 60°C hot moon Vesuvit 2A is home to an ongoing conflict between the Vy'keen and the sentinels for undisturbed rule, the green moon Suri]is not only a marvel of life and a sight to behold, but another fraud. A permanent rainstorm grips the world, shrouding all visitors in a warm tingling rain of barely 25.3°C. In the night this doesn't even drop down below 15.4°C. The real horror begins when the eternal rain picks up. As the water in the atmosphere increases and shifts the chemical equilibrium, a dangerous reaction takes place. The exotherm reaction in the atmosphere increases the heat significantly, boiling all those covered in the mists of its reactive compound in a deadly veil of 159.2°C. Those caught without heat protection will die.
- Fozard is the only planet that doesn't lie to any visitors face. It is a warm planet, even by night with 33.6°C. This isn't its primary danger though, as even at night a constant rain of 6 Rad in radiation assaults any unwary visitor. Life isn't easy here. But Fozard never betrays you.

Pre 1.38, Suri was a moon that experienced acid storms. There were no lush world in the Yuhymunosh Anomaly that didn't.
"Water reacts further with the sulfuric atmosphere, creating a terribly warm and high concentration of sulfuric acid. As the temperature shots to 34.2°C on average and even higher on the skin, the acidity quickly rises to 112.7 Hammett. If one is caught unprepared by this storm, they are dead."
