The Wideshot Adaptor is a weapon upgrade for the multi-tool's Boltcaster.
Game description
Boltcaster shots are granted a wide cone of destruction. Reduces device's range and rate of fire, encouraging combat with targets in close proximity to user. Operates automatically once constructed within user's multi-tool inventory.

Additional information
- Needs no fuel or recharging
- Multiple bolts are used for each shot
- Reduces clip size while in use
- Can be combined with damage upgrades to kill sentinels in a single shot

- Pre-release - technology handled by the Widebeam Adaptor and the Widebeam Adaptor V1 upgrade.
- Release - initial game component
- Pathfinder - dropped from the game, replaced by Pulse Spitter technology
